iBuilder – An Introduction to Building and Construction

For Grade 1 (6 yr olds)

An ideal program to enable children to understand how things around them work through THEME based building and construction of working models. It makes learning an imaginative, practical, 3 dimensional, hands – on, fun experience.

What will the kids learn during the course of the program:

  • Develop hand eye coordination, motor and perception skills.
  • Develop an appreciation and understanding of how things work in day to day life.
  • Build self-confidence and problem solving skills and trigger creativity.

iEngineer – An Introduction to Simple & Powered Machine

For grade 2-4 (7-9 yrs olds)

Introduces students to the basic concepts of engineering, science and mechanics through simple machines.  The course involves building and learning the principles of simple machines and their mechanisms like gears, pulleys, levers etc. Problem solving activities helps understand the various aspects of simple machines and their applications & how they can be used to solve real life problems.

What will the kids learn during the course of the program:

Understand the concepts of Gravity, Friction, forces and movement.

  • Establish the link between causes & effect
  • Learn how to observe, predict and record information and data
  • Design and make things for different purposes
  • Explore and execute ideas

iProto – An Introduction to Robotics

For grade 5-8 (10-13 yrs olds)

Introduces students to the basics of robotics through different sensors, motors and logic based programming by building and programming their own robots. Designed to provide opportunities to teach and reinforce key classroom concepts in science, math, technology, and engineering (STEM).

What will the kids learn during the course of the program:

  • Learn about specialized sensors like light, touch, sound, ultrasonic and their various applications.
  • Control speed and power using motors.
  • Using icon based programming tools to understand logical flow and decision making with the help of sensors and programming tools.
  • Participants would be fully involved in conceptualizing & constructing their own robots. Brainstorm with team mates to find solutions and generate ideas, choose one solution, then build, test and evaluate.
